THE NAME
Starfish Children's Charities derives it's name from the story of the youth who attempts to save as many starfish as possible by throwing them, one by one, back into the ocean. Our story, however, goes beyond the well known version.

PARTNERING WITH CHARITIES
There is no question about the value and importance of each individual life, but if we can put resources together and save thousands instead of just the one, we will have paired generosity with wisdom. This is how we achieve our mission.

FUNDING FOR CHARITIES and VENTURE PHILANTHROPY
Starfish Children's Charities is a funding vehicle for charities that are already working to make sure children are rescued from conditions of poverty, abandonment and  exploitation and dispair - Charities that work to break the cycles that keep children washing up on those beaches. Funding is also provided for special projects and start-up ventures that address needs other organizations do not meet.
